Within the project, EFFACE partners compiled 12 case studies on different types of environmental crime. The purpose of conducting these case studies was to identify the mechanisms and impacts of different types of environmental crime within and outside of the EU and possible counter-measures. The case studies also contain conclusions and recommendations on how to improve the EU's policy framework and EU political action to better combat environmetnal crime.
