Environmental Crime Case Studies

Within the project, EFFACE partners have compiled 12 case studies on different types of environmental crime. The purpose of conducting these case studies is to identify the mechanisms and impacts of different types of environmental crime within and outside of the EU and possible counter-measures. The case studies also contain contains conclusions and recommendations on how to improve the EU's policy framework and EU political action to better combat environmetnal crime.

EFFACE contribution to Commission's consultation on wildlife trafficking

The EFFACE project has submitted a contribution to the European Commission's consultation on wildlife trafficking. The contribution, compiled by Jennifer Maher (University of Southwales), Ragnhild Sollund (University of Oslo) and Teresa Fajardo del Castillo (University of Grenada) highlights several shortcomings of existing approaches to combatting wildlife trafficking and suggests remedies.

The Commission has published the results of the wildlife crime consultation.
